Siraj reaches career-best position in Test rankings: The latest ICC Test rankings have seen some significant changes this time around. The good news for the Indian team is that fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah remains the world's number one Test bowler. Furthermore, another fast bowler, Mohammed Siraj, has also performed exceptionally well, making a significant jump in the rankings.

Mohammed Siraj has jumped three places in the latest rankings and is now at number 12. This is the best achievement of his career so far, as he has achieved a rating of 718, his all-time high.
However, despite such a significant jump, Siraj still hasn't broken into the top 10. However, given his impressive bowling, there's hope that he could soon break into the top 10 bowlers' list.

Siraj's impressive progress is attributed to his excellent bowling in the first match of the ongoing Test series against the West Indies. In the first innings of this match played in Ahmedabad, Siraj performed brilliantly, taking four wickets for just 40 runs in 14 overs. However, in the second innings, he conceded 31 runs in 11 overs, but did not get any wickets.
Had Siraj taken two or three wickets in the second innings as well, he might have already secured his place in the top 10. Team India's next match, the second Test of this series, will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi from October 10. It is expected that Siraj will continue his excellent performance in this match as well.

Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has retained his number one position in the ICC Test rankings. His rating is 885. Although he recently reached 908, his rating has now dropped slightly. Despite this, his number one position does not appear to be in any danger at the moment.
South African fast bowler Kagiso Rabada is second in the rankings with a rating of 851. There's a significant difference between the ratings of the first and second-ranked bowlers, which reflects Bumrah's dominance.
Currently, Jasprit Bumrah is the only Indian bowler in the top 10. But with the way Mohammed Siraj is performing, the day is not far off when two Indian fast bowlers will be seen in the top 10.
