Arshdeep, who is yet to play a single match in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, suffered a cut while stopping a delivery from Sai Sudharsan on his follow-through. After the session ended, the medical team immediately conducted an examination.
India assistant coach Ryan ten Doeschate said, "When Arshdeep was bowling there, Sai got hit by a ball and tried to stop it, but he just got a cut on his hand. So we have to see how deep the cut is. The medical team has taken him to the doctor and obviously, whether he needs stitches or not will be seen in the next few days."
