Full list of head coaches of all 10 teams for IPL 2026: The mini auction for IPL 2026 is scheduled to be held next month, in December. Ahead of the auction on December 16th, all teams have released their lists of released and retained players. Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have made major changes to their coaching teams. So, let's take a look at all the teams' head coach lists for IPL 2026.

Kumar Sangakkara - Rajasthan Royals Head Coach

Former Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara has been appointed head coach by the Rajasthan Royals ahead of IPL 2026. Sangakkara will now replace Rahul Dravid as RR's head coach.

Mahela Jayawardene - Mumbai Indians Head Coach

Mumbai Indians appointed former Sri Lankan batting legend Mahela Jayawardene as head coach for IPL 2025. Now, Mahela Jayawardene will coach MI in IPL 2026 as well. Jayawardene also coached MI from 2017 to 2022.

Stephen Fleming - Chennai Super Kings Head Coach

Stephen Fleming has been a part of the Chennai Super Kings since 2009. Under his coaching, the Chennai Super Kings won the IPL title five times: in 2010, 2011, 2018, 2021, and 2023. Stephen Fleming will continue as head coach of CSK in IPL 2026.

Abhishek Nayar - Kolkata Knight Riders Head Coach

The Kolkata Knight Riders have appointed Abhishek Nayar as their head coach. Abhishek will coach KKR in IPL 2026. It should be noted that Abhishek Nayar has previously served on the KKR staff.

Justin Langer - Lucknow Super Giants Head Coach

Former Australian batsman Justin Langer was appointed head coach by the Lucknow Super Giants in 2023. LSG has confirmed that Langer will remain the head coach in IPL 2026 as well. Arun Bharat is the bowling coach for LSG.

Sunrisers Hyderabad appointed former New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori as their head coach ahead of the 2024 IPL season. Daniel Vettori will continue as head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2026 IPL season.

Ricky Ponting - Punjab Kings Head Coach

Punjab Kings appointed former Australian captain Ricky Ponting as head coach ahead of the 2025 IPL season. Ponting and Punjab Kings have signed a four-year contract. Under Ponting's coaching, Punjab Kings reached the finals in the previous season, IPL 2025.

Ashish Nehra - Gujarat Titans Head Coach

Former Indian fast bowler Ashish Nehra has been head coach of Gujarat Titans since their inaugural season. Nehra has been with the team since their debut season in 2022, and under his leadership, GT has performed exceptionally well.

Andy Flower - Royal Challengers Bangalore Head Coach

Royal Challengers Bangalore appointed Andy Flower as head coach ahead of the 2023 season. Subsequently, under the coaching of Andy Flower, RCB won its first IPL title in IPL 2025. Flower will continue to coach RCB for the next season as well.

Hemang Badani - Delhi Capitals Head Coach

Delhi Capitals appointed former Indian cricketer Hemang Badani as head coach ahead of the IPL 2025 season. Hemang Badani will continue as head coach for IPL 2026 as well.
