Fastest batter to score 500 runs in women ODI Cricket: Young Indian women's team batsman Pratika Rawal is currently on a tour of Sri Lanka and is seen playing in the triangular series. In the match against South Africa on Tuesday, the 24-year-old batsman achieved a major feat with a half-century innings. She became the first Indian woman batsman to touch the 500-run mark in the least number of innings in ODIs.
In the second match of the triangular series, Pratika Rawal completed 500 runs in ODIs. She achieved this feat with a brilliant half-century in the eighth innings of her career and surpassed England's Charlotte Edwards, who had completed 500 runs in ODIs in nine innings. The opener faced 91 balls and played a brilliant innings of 78 runs. During this, seven fours and a six came off her bat.

Pratika made her debut for India in December last year. In the very first match of her career, she made her intentions clear by scoring an unbeaten 50 runs. The right-handed batsman has now equaled former Indian captain Mithali Raj by scoring her fifth consecutive half-century against South Africa. The legendary batsman had scored 50+ consecutive scores in five innings. Now Pratika has also done the same feat.
