Warner has previously captained Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL. He made the team champion in 2016. He joined the Delhi team in 2022. He was bought by the franchise in the mega auction for Rs 6.25 crore. Warner had a great performance in the season after that. He scored 432 runs in 12 matches at an average of 48. During this his strike rate was 150.52. Five half-centuries came out of Warner's bat.
