The Asia Cup 2025 match between India and Pakistan brought not only excitement on the field but also controversy off it. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav was called before the ICC panel after the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) complained about his post-match comments.
What Happened After India vs Pakistan Group Match?
India defeated Pakistan by seven wickets in the group stage. After the win, Suryakumar dedicated the victory to the Indian armed forces and showed support for the families of the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack.
He said that the win was for the bravery of the soldiers and hoped cricket could give them moments of happiness. PCB considered his words to be political and reported the matter to ICC.

The ICC did not punish Suryakumar but gave him a warning. They told him not to make political comments again during cricket matches.
