Who will win today IND vs PAK match?: The 17th edition of the Asia Cup began on September 9. Eight teams are participating in the tournament; arch-rivals India and Pakistan are in the same group. The two neighbours will face off in a Group A encounter at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday, September 14.
Both teams are coming into the match on the back of winning their previous matches. India defeated UAE by nine wickets on September 10, while Pakistan defeated Oman by 93 runs on September 12. Both matches were played in Dubai.
Reigning T20 World Cup champions India were considered favourites ahead of the tournament. India have an excellent record against Pakistan in the Asia Cup.

The Pakistan team has gone through many changes in the last few years. They have also changed captains several times. Shaheen Afridi and Mohammad Rizwan were tried, while Babar Azam also got two chances. Eventually they chose Salman Ali Agha, who has given some good results, including a win in the tri-series before the Asia Cup.

India's bowling attack has a lot of balance. Yes, the team seems to be short of a fast bowler, but the team management has shown faith in the all-round abilities of Shivam Dubey and Abhishek Sharma. In fact, in the match against UAE, India fielded three spinners, while Arshdeep Singh had to sit out and watch the match. Jasprit Bumrah was the only main fast bowler, while Hardik Pandya and Dubey supported him in fast bowling.

Suryakumar Yadav was appointed the captain of the T20 International team and has performed brilliantly along with Gambhir. India have won 16 of their last 20 T20 matches since the 2024 T20 World Cup.
