The three-match ODI series between India and Sri Lanka is starting from Friday. The first match of this series is being played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. In this match, when Team India captain Rohit Sharma came for the toss, he was wearing a black band on his arm. Team India has taken this decision due to the death of its former coach and batsman Anshuman Gaekwad.

Anshuman died on Wednesday night. He was suffering from blood cancer for a long time. BCCI helped him and also gave money for treatment but Anshuman's life could not be saved.
