It is shown in the trailer that after becoming the President, Thunderbolt calls Harrison Ford and says that he needs Captain America once again. Harrison Ford plays Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross. William Hurt played the role as the general in The Incredible Hulk (2008) and as the Secretary of State in Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Black Widow (2021). Sadly, Hurt passed away in 2022.
Ford plays Thaddeus Ross in the upcoming Captain America movie, and when the famous mustache is gone, he says, "Lose the mustache or lose the election." When the trailer begins, Ross is the newly-elected President of the United States.
A map in the teaser?

While Ross introduces the world to Sam Wilson as Captain America. Here's a map with several places highlighted. We don't know why it's highlighted, but we'll take a few guesses
- Yellow highlighted areas, seem to be countries: United States and France
- White highlights (Estimated locations for cities): Reykjavik, Iceland; Funchal, Portugal; Coimbra, Portugal; Ben Garde, Tunisia; Liberic, Czechia; there's only next to the right of the bald man that I can't place; Mandalay, Myanmar (Really not sure about this one, but that's the general area); and Davao, Philippines or Guam (Unsure about this due to the warping of the map).
- White highlights with arrows, which also seem to be cities: Malung, Sweden; Kyiv, Ukraine; Tirin Kut, Afghanistan (Kabal seems to far off when compared to the map); and the one in the upper-right-hand, and it's the toughest to place. Maybe it's Ilirney, Russia?
Red Hulk's powerful entry at the end of the teaser

It is seen in the trailer that the action and blasts seen here are being driven by the character of the dreaded Giancarlo Esposito, whose name is GW Bridge, a comic book character. At the end, there is also a glimpse of the entry of Red Hulk, who has also been seen in the promotional posters.

Who is Red Hulk

And then, at the end of the trailer, we see Red Hulk grab Captain America's famous shield and smash it into the ground. It looks like Sam gets into a fight with Red Hulk, which looks like a one-sided battle, but Marvel is definitely hiding a lot.
Leaks had indicated that Harrison Ford's Thaddeus Ross was set to be transformed into a very large, very CG monster, which this trailer now confirms. Captain America: Brave New World may be at least partially based on the various Hulk comic stories that ran between 2008 and 2010, many of which prominently featured Red Hulk. Some fans have even gone as far as speculating that this could secretly be a Hulk movie, or even Mark Ruffalo's swan song in the MCU.
