Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram was certainly an incarnate man but he was born from his mother's womb like a normal child.
There is a lot of disagreement in the Puranas as to when Shri Ram was born. According to the popular story, Shri Ram was born on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month. On this day, Ram Navami is celebrated across the country which is considered to mark the birth of Shri Ram.
The question arises that after the era of Shri Ram, so many civilizations have come and gone that it seems impossible to decide in which period, year and section Shri Ram was born. What does Maharishi Valmiki's Ramayana say?: The birth of Shri Ram has been mentioned in this way in the Bal Kanda of Ramayana written by Maharishi Valmiki. In Janam Sarg 18th verse 18-8-10, Maharishi Valmik ji has mentioned that Shri Ram ji was born in Abhijeet auspicious time on the ninth date of Chaitra Shukla Paksha. The surprising thing is that in the modern era, when calculated by computer, it comes out to be 21st February, 5115 AD.
According to Tulsidas's Ramcharit Manas: Tulsidas has also mentioned the same date and constellations in the first quatrain after the 190th couplet of Manas's Bal Kand. Tulsidas ji, while mentioning every stage of Ram's life in Ramcharit Manas, has said that in the sixteenth year he went to Tapovan with Vishwamitra and learned warfare.
Aa Veda confirms Valmiki Ramayana: Valmiki Ramayana has also been confirmed by the Institute of Scientific Research on Veda i.e. I Survey, an organization based in Delhi. Veda has created the theory on the basis of calculation of astronomical conditions that Valmiki has given information about the birth situation of Ram on the basis of calculation of stars. Ashok Bhatnagar, Kulbhushan Mishra and Saroj Bala have played the main roles in this research conducted by Veda. Saroj Bala is also the president of IWEDA. According to them, Lord Ram was born on 10 January 5114.
Valmiki writes that on the ninth day of Shuklapaksha of Chaitra month, in Punarvasu Nakshatra and Cancer ascendant, Kaushalya Devi gave birth to the universally celebrated Shri Ram with divine characteristics. Valmiki says that at the time when Ram was born, the five planets were in their highest position.
Was Ram born in the afternoon?: According to the report presented in this exhibition named Unique Exhibition on Cultural Continuity from Rigveda to Robotics, Lord Ram was born at 12:05 AM on January 10, 5114 BC.
Computer discovered new date: When the planetary constellations mentioned by Valmiki Ramayana were assessed according to the Planetarium software, the date of birth of Ram was 4 December BC i.e. 9349 years ago.
