Following a dispute over security screening, a SpiceJet employee was detained on Thursday for hitting a member of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). The startling incident's video has gone viral.
Around four in the morning, assistant sub-inspector Giriraj Prasad stopped Anuradha Rani, an airline food supervisor, for not having the authorization to access the 'vehicle gate.' She hit the security guard after being ordered to go through screening at a separate entrance, according to police and CISF authorities.
She is presently being investigated after being charged under certain Bharat Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) provisions.
SpiceJet, on the other hand, defended its worker, saying that she had experienced 'sexual harassment'.
The ASI requested a female colleague for the security check, according to Jaipur airport SHO Ral Lal, but the debate got out of hand and the SpiceJet employee smacked him.
According to him, a complaint has been filed against the food supervisor under Bharat Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) sections 132 (assaulting public worker) and 121 (1) (voluntarily causing pain to dissuade public servant from his duties).
According to the SHO, Anuradha Rani was detained and the incident is being looked into after the ASI filed a report.
