Indian cricket team star Shreyas Iyer has won the ICC Player of the Month (March) title by defeating Rachin Ravindra and Jacob Duffy. This middle-order star player was dropped from the BCCI central contract in 2024, but he was the highest run-scorer for the team in the Champions Trophy. Iyer's comeback started with his consistent performance in domestic cricket, after which he returned to the national team and performed brilliantly by leading India to victory in CT 2025.

Iyer scored 243 runs for India in the Champions Trophy and nailed his role as a number 4 batsman. Despite leading KKR to another IPL trophy, he was dropped from the BCCI central contract and the T20 World Cup squad in 2024. He made a comeback to the team and is expected to be India's best number 4 batsman in the 50-over format.
