The Australian government is soon going to launch a campaign to promote tourism in its country. Former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar's daughter Sara Tendulkar is a part of this campaign, who has been given the responsibility of promoting tourism in Australia. A total of 130 million dollars (about Rs 1137 crore in Indian currency) will be spent in this campaign.
This campaign being launched with the aim of promoting tourism in Australia will be run in many big countries of the world. Apart from India, it will be run in big countries like America, Britain, China, Japan etc. A well-known face from every country has been made a part of this campaign, so that people of their country plan to visit Australia. This will increase tourism in Australia and the income generated from it will also increase.
The aim of this campaign is to encourage people from these big countries to visit Australia. Under this, people will be helped in planning their trip to Australia and many facilities will be provided. It will first start in China from August 7, then it will be started in other countries by the end of the year.
Sara Tendulkar will share her experiences in Australia with people
Tourism Australia Managing Director Philippa Harrison said: Ruby will be joined by five renowned talents from different walks of life in our new campaign who will share their experiences of living in Australia.
The new campaign features Australian wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin in the US, food writer and TV cook Nigella Lawson in the UK, actor Yosh Yu in China, entrepreneur and social activist Sara Tendulkar in India and media personality and comedian Abareru-kun in Japan.
