Renault has introduced an electric motorcycle at the Paris Motor Show 2024. Its name is Heritage Spirit Scrambler. This bike can be launched in the early months of 2025 next year. Renault has introduced the Heritage Spirit Scrambler, an electric motorcycle with off-road oriented design. The company introduced it at the 2024 Paris Motor Show along with the 4 E-Tech electric car.
Renault introduced the Renault 4 E-Tech electric car. Along with this, the company also introduced the electric motorcycle Heritage Spirit Scrambler. Its price is EUR 23,340 (Rs 21.2 lakh in Indian rupees).
The Renault electric motorcycle is named Heritage Spirit Scrambler, it is made by a French start-up company called Ateliers Heritage Bikes located in Poissy near the city of Annecy, France. This is a limited production electric motorcycle, whose pre-order can be started. It can be launched in February 2025 next year.
The Heritage Spirit Scrambler will be offered in two variants, one being the standard and the other being the 50 version. At the same time, its maximum speed will be restricted to 45 km/h for persons of sixteen years of age and above to be eligible for an AM driving license in Europe.
Its standard Heritage Spirit Scrambler is going to have a top speed of up to 99 km/h. It will be priced around EUR 24,950 (around Rs 22,79 lakh). Although its price is quite high, it can become a collector's item as it will be produced in very limited numbers.
It features a small LED headlight unit with LED DRLs, a single-piece ribbed design genuine leather seat, a wide handlebar with circular bar-end mirrors, a fuel tank-like element and a battery pack placed under the seat.
The Heritage Spirit Scrambler has a 4.8 kWh battery pack. It generates a maximum power of 10 bhp and a maximum torque of 280 Nm. The company claims that the battery gives a range of up to 110 km once fully charged.
The Renault electric motorcycle comes equipped with USD telescopic front forks from WP, a rear monoshock unit from EMC and 17-inch aluminium wire-spoke wheels wrapped with scrambler-type knobby tyres from Heidenau. Along with this, it has a 320mm front disc and a 240mm rear disc brake setup with Brembo brake calipers.
