Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday that creating eight crore new jobs in the last three to four years has 'silenced' those who create false narratives about unemployment. Citing a recent Reserve Bank of India report on employment, the Prime Minister stated that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) administration continues to promote stability and growth. Small and large investors have embraced the NDA's third term enthusiastically.

During the ceremony to unveil projects worth Rs 29,000 crore in the road, railway, and port sectors, Modi slammed opposition parties for spreading falsehoods about job creation, labelling them as roadblocks to progress.

'This figure has silenced those spreading fake narratives on jobs,' Modi added, launching a veiled assault on the opposition for making unemployment a central issue in the recent Lok Sabha elections.

'Those who disseminate false narratives are adversaries of investment, infrastructure development, and national progress. Every policy they implement is aimed at deceiving the young and stalling employment. 'They are now being exposed as people reject their lies,' added the Prime Minister.

Modi stated that skill development and employment are critical in the country, and his administration is striving.

He stated that Maharashtra has a beautiful past, a capable present, and the hope of a successful future.

It is the state that plays a crucial role in Viksit Bharat because of its industrial, agricultural, and financial resources.

'I aim to make Maharashtra the world's big financial powerhouse and to make Mumbai a global fintech capital,' the governor stated.

'Our goal is to raise everyone's level of living and ensure the highest quality of life possible. This is why efforts are being made to improve connectivity in locations around Mumbai,' the Prime Minister said.

The groundbreaking of infrastructural projects comes months before the state assembly elections. The planned infrastructure projects in and around Mumbai would improve communication between the metropolis and surrounding areas, ensuring improved amenities and safety for women, Modi stated.

The metro rail network in the metropolis is rapidly expanding, having grown from 8 kilometres 10 years ago to 80 kilometres presently, with development on another 200 kilometres underway, according to the PM.

In Maharashtra, the length of national roads has tripled, and the Goregaon-Mulund Link Road, which will serve as a key east-west connection in the city's northern region, is a prime example of striking a balance between conservation and development.

The PM stated that the twin tunnels connecting Thane and Borivali will make it possible to travel between the two districts in minutes. The Coastal Road and Atal Setu are now complete, according to the PM, who also mentioned efforts by others to postpone the sea bridge.

But now everyone understands how useful it is, the Prime Minister added of the Atal Setu, the country's longest sea bridge between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. Every day, around 20,000 cars utilise it, saving an estimated Rs 20-25 lakh in fuel and reducing travel time to Panvel, according to the Prime Minister.

The modernization of railroads benefits Mumbai and Maharashtra, he remarked. The renovation of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus and Ajni-Nagpur was progressing rapidly. The new platforms at CSMT and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (two of Central Railway's important junctions in Mumbai) have been opened, allowing the railways to operate 24-coach trains, according to the Prime Minister. The Centre has also authorised the Rs 76000 crore Vadhavan port in Dahanu, Palghar, which will create 10 lakh employment, according to the Prime Minister.
