The journey of the Australian team in the T20 World Cup 2024 is over. As soon as Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh on 25 June, Australia's strong team was eliminated from the World Cup. Meanwhile, Jaipur Police shared such a meme on the Australian cricketer from its official Twitter account, which has created a ruckus.
A meme of Jaipur Police which teaches the lesson of Atithi Devo Bhava is being discussed a lot. In this meme made for the India and Australia match of World Cup 2024, Indian cricketers are shown in the uniform of Jaipur Police, while Australian cricketer Travis Head is presented as a criminal.
This meme has been tweeted from the official Twitter handle of Jaipur Police, seeing which people got angry. Travis Head is shown as the criminal in the photo and it is written that 'he was being searched since November 19 and now he has been caught.
Actually, the reason behind people's anger is the action taken by Jaipur Police a day earlier, in which the police arrested a young man for making obscene videos with foreign women and uploading them on social media. But now people are retweeting such memes on the international cricketer and writing that 'what kind of attitude is this of Jaipur Police towards the guests.
However, seeing the controversy growing, this tweet has now been deleted. Earlier, 'Kisi din ye tamasha muskur kar hum bhi dekhenge' was also written in the tweet along with the meme.
Regarding this meme, Additional Police Commissioner Jaipur Kailash Bishnoi said that he is not aware of this tweet, there is a separate team of social media which looks after this work. We will find out what was written and why.
Keep in mind that India defeated Australia by 24 runs in the T20 World Cup and avenged the defeat in the final of the ODI World Cup on 19 November 2023. In this match, Rohit Sharma played a captaincy innings of 92 runs for India, while Travis Head scored the highest 76 runs for his team.
On this, Jaipur Police made a meme in which Indian captain Rohit Sharma, fast bowler Arshdeep Singh, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli have been made to stand in the uniform of Jaipur Police. The same Kangaroo cricketer Travis Head was shown sitting down like a criminal. It also said, 'We were looking for him since 19th November and finally we have caught him'.
