By Akshay - May 07, 2024 06:14 PM

At present, the fight is going on between the teams in IPL 2024. So far 55 matches have been played, but the interesting thing is that no team has been able to officially confirm its place in the playoffs. The teams which are ahead have a strong claim, but the teams which are at the bottom are also not out. In such a situation, any team can enter the playoffs. At present the points table has become so mysterious that no one knows which team will advance when.

Who is ahead in the points table?

Talking about the current point table, it is clear that the teams of KKR and Rajasthan Royals are at the forefront. But to go to the playoffs they will have to win one more match. While KKR still has 3 matches left, Rajasthan has 3-4 matches left. Both have 12 points. That means overall it can be assumed that both these teams will go to the playoffs, but for this we will have to wait for a few days.

Chennai, Hyderabad and Lucknow have equal points

Chennai Super Kings team is currently in third place and Sunrisers Hyderabad is in fourth place. Now there are 12 issues. Both of them still have to play their 3 matches and after winning two of these matches, their place will be confirmed, but if these teams are able to win only one match then the matter may get stuck. Even though LSG team is currently at number 5, it also has 12 points. By winning one match, this team will go ahead of CSK and SRH.

These teams also have a chance

Delhi Capitals is the only team which has ten points. The claim of this team also looks quite strong. If the leading teams lose their matches and Delhi wins all the matches, then this can also be a possibility. RCB is at seventh, Punjab Kings at 8th and Mumbai at 9th. But all of them have 8 marks. Punjab and RCB have played 11 matches so far, but Mumbai has played 12 matches. Whereas Gujarat has eight points in 11 matches. This means that the four teams who are currently on eight points are also not out, but their chances have reduced significantly.
