DTC Bus Ticket Online Booking

Even though metro service is available in Delhi, a large section still uses DTC bus for travelling. In such situations, many times passengers have to face the problem of change. DTC has taken an important step to eliminate all these problems.

Now passengers traveling in DTC bus can book tickets through instant messaging platform WhatsApp. This means that passengers can book and buy tickets through the chatbot. Meta chatting app WhatsApp has launched QR-based ticketing service for DTC passengers in Delhi-NCR. After the commencement of this service, passengers will be freed from carrying change or cash.

How to book tickets through WhatsApp

Passengers can book tickets in both English and Hindi languages. To book tickets, they need to send 'Hi' from their WhatsApp to +918744073223 or scan the QR code.

Currently the chatbot allows passengers traveling on DTC and DIMTS routes to book QR tickets. This facility is available for single travel only.

If a passenger travels the same route repeatedly, the chatbot provides quick shopping facilities to the passenger. This will reduce the time taken to book tickets.

Last year, WhatsApp partnered with Delhi Metro to expand WhatsApp-based ticketing on all Delhi, Noida and Gurugram Rapid Metro routes.
