Hero MotoCorp has launched the premium bike Mavric 440 in the Indian market. It is the flagship motorcycle of the brand and will be offered in three variants – base, mid and top. Their price is Rs 1.99 lakh, Rs 2.14 lakh and Rs 2.24 lakh. Let us tell you that all these prices are ex-showroom.
Customers who are interested can pre-book the motorcycle and its deliveries will begin from April. Along with this, the company has also introduced Welcome to Mavrick Club Offer. Customers who book Mavric 440 before March 15 will get a customized kit of accessories and merchandise worth Rs 10,000.
Design-wise, the Mavric 440 is a muscular fuel tank roadster with neo-retro elements. Hero MotoCorp is using the metal for the fuel tank, shrouds and even the fenders. LEDs have been used for light duty on the motorcycle. Hero has introduced a digital speedometer in the Maverick 440, which uses a negative display and comes with Bluetooth connectivity.
The Mavric 440 has the same engine as the HD X440. This engine produces a maximum power of 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and a peak torque output of 36 Nm at 4,000 rpm, which is 2 Nm less than the X440. The gearbox on duty is a 6-speed unit, which gets a slip-and-assist clutch.
