In the final of this tournament held in Georgia, she faced India's experienced Grandmaster Koneru Humpy. This was the first time that two Indian players faced each other in the final of the FIDE Women's World Cup. After the classical game was drawn, Divya defeated Koneru Humpy 1.5-0.5 in the tie-breaker match to win the title.

  • She became the first Indian woman player to win the FIDE Women's World Cup.
