Many golden memories of the children of the 80s and 90s are associated with Cartoon Network. This channel started on 1 October 1992, on which many cartoons like 'Tom and Jerry', 'Selekar', 'Teen Titans Go' and Powerful Girls, Scooby Doo, The Jet Sons used to come, which were enjoyed by children as well as young and old alike.
Even today, many children born in the 90s know the names of the shows aired on Cartoon Network by heart. Seeing the growing craze of OTT, Warner Bros. started its Cartoon Network website in 1998, where people used to enjoy their favorite cartoons.
Cartoon Network's website went down on August 8. However, you don't need to despair, as Indian and foreign viewers can still enjoy their favorite cartoons.
According to Variety's report, viewers will now be able to watch shows aired on Cartoon Network's website on Max. This website is owned by Warner Bros. When international users click on the Max website, they will get a welcome message from Cartoon Network and a list of all the programs will be in front of them.
To watch Cartoon Network shows, they have to first subscribe to Max. Not only this, they can create a separate kids profile on the streaming platform and can also make other shows private. If you don't like watching cartoons on the phone, then you can connect your app on cable and enjoy your favorite cartoons.
Since the Max app is not available in India, Indian viewers can enjoy their favorite cartoon shows by visiting Cartoon Network's YouTube channel. Although you won't find full shows on YouTube, you will find clips of shows like Tom and Jerry and Teen Titans Go.
A spokesperson for Cartoon Network said that their focus right now is Cartoon Network and social media platforms, where people are most connected. He also said that you can watch all the shows airing on Cartoon Network continuously for 11 hours i.e. from 6 am to 5 pm on Max.
