French car manufacturer Bugatti has today (21 June) launched the new hyper car Tourbillon in the global market. The company has launched a new model in the market after 2016. The most special thing about the car is its powerful engine, which generates power equivalent to 22 Maruti Suzuki Swifts.

The Swift comes with an 80.46hp engine, while the Bugatti Tourbillon is a hypercar with 1800 horsepower and attractive design. The company claims that the Tourbillon can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 2 seconds.

Bugatti Tourbillon: Price and Delivery

This car will replace the Bugatti Chiron which comes with 1,500 horsepower and is priced at $3.3 million (about Rs 27.57 crore). The starting price of the Bugatti Tourbillon has been set at $4.6 million (about Rs 38.44 crore). The company will manufacture and sell only 250 units of it and will deliver it in early 2026. Bugatti has separated from the Volkswagen Group and has now joined hands with electric car maker Rimac Nevera, after which the company's name has become Bugatti Rimac.

In terms of design, the Bugatti Tourbillon is a completely new model. None of its components have been taken from the Chiron. The front of the hypercar features a large horseshoe-like grille, with quad LED headlamps on either side. The company's signature spine can be seen in the middle of the car. From the side, another signature element, the 'Bugatti Line', has been given a new design. At the rear, there are full-width LED tail lights with BUGATI lettering in the middle. It also has a large diffusor at the bottom, in which the quad exhaust has been integrated.

A completely new cabin and dashboard layout has been given inside the car. The instrument cluster of this car has been designed with the help of Swiss watchmakers. The company has said that the instrument cluster is made of more than 600 parts, using titanium as well as gems like sapphire and ruby.

The center console is made of polished aluminum and crystal glass. Its interior has been presented in retro design. Although it also has a digital display, the car can also be driven without it. A small display with Apple CarPlay connectivity is found in the center of the dashboard.

However, it is hidden in the dashboard and comes out when the driver operates it. The biggest feature of the Tourbillon's interior is the steering wheel, in which the hub and gauges remain in their place and only the wheel rotates around.

Bugatti Tourbillon: Performance

The Bugatti Tourbillon is powered by an 8.3-litre naturally aspirated V16 hybrid engine. This ICE engine alone generates 1000 hp and 900nm. Three electric motors are paired with the engine. With this entire setup, the hypercar generates a total power of 1800hp.

This new powertrain is tuned with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Bugatti claims that the Tourbillon can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 2 seconds, while it takes just 10 seconds to accelerate from 0-299 kmph. Bugatti claims that the Tourbillon has a maximum speed of 445 kmph.
