A lot of "maybes" and "hope to" are spoken during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES). Many of the gadgets on display require months or even years to release. The recurring themes at the annual tech expo in Las Vegas include prototypes, previews, and proofs of concept—that's assuming they even make it to market at all. Thankfully, there are a few exceptions made each year for those who are itching to get their hands on the newest tech.

Apollo Neuro claims that the power of "good vibes"—that is, by activating the vagus nerve, which controls vital physiological processes like breathing and heart rate—can enhance attention, help you sleep better, and reduce stress. When Mashable tech reporter Kim Gedeon used it for three weeks before CES, it didn't live up to all of those boasts, but it did help her with her social anxiety: "It's similar to how I feel when I'm listening to binaural beats or ASMR," she wrote. It was discounted by about $70 at the time of release on Amazon and the Apollo Neuro website.
