Portugal Cricket (Federação Portuguesa de Cricket) will host a Men's T20 International Tri-Series tournament—which carries points towards the ICC Men's T20I Team Rankings—against the men's national teams of France and Norway at the Santarém Cricket Ground from April 5 to April 9, 2026. All teams will compete against one another in a triple round-robin group stage format, following which the top two (2) teams in the points table will face off in the final for the title.
This series will mark the first-ever Men's T20 International encounter between France and Portugal. All three teams are scheduled to participate in their respective sub-regional qualifiers during the European summer season—events that will pave the way for qualification for the 2028 ICC Men's T20 World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand (France will travel to Cyprus for Sub-Regional Qualifier A; Norway will go to Denmark for Sub-Regional Qualifier B; and Portugal will head to Finland for Sub-Regional Qualifier C)—and this series will serve as the kick-off to their preparations.
