The Pondicherry Premier League (PPL) is back with its second edition, which will be played from Sunday, July 6. The T20 league, whose first edition was won by Mahe Megalo Strikers last year when they defeated Villianur Mohit Kings by six wickets in a one-sided final, will be played at the Seachem Stadium in Thuthipet for 22 days, with the final on Sunday, July 27.
Six teams will participate in the tournament, namely Osudu Accord Warriors, Ruby White Town Legends, Karaikal Knights, Mahe Megalo Strikers, Jhenid Yanam Royals and Villianur Mohit Kings. The league, which will run for the next 22 days, will see a total of 34 matches played at the same ground. Each team will play against each other twice in a double round-robin format, followed by a knockout stage.
