The much-awaited Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2025 is set to begin today, August 21, at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. The second edition of the league will see explosive action, with a total of 33 matches including the knockout stages and all the matches will be played in a double round-robin format. The tournament will run till September 7, when the new champion of Kerala cricket will be decided in the Grand Final.
The tournament will begin on August 21 and will feature 30 league stage matches until September 4. Following this, the top four teams will clash in the semi-finals on September 5. The second and third-placed teams will play the first semi-final, while the first and fourth-placed teams will play the second semi-final. The final will be held on September 7. All matches will be played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
On double-header match days, the first match will start at 2:30 pm local time and the second match at 6:45 pm local time, except on the opening day, when the second match will start at 7:45 pm local time, an hour later than usual.
