The Botswana Cricket Association (BCA) will host the third edition of the Kalahari Women’s T20I Tournament from April 6 to April 11, 2026, at the Botswana Cricket Association Oval 1 and Oval 2 grounds in Gaborone. The scope of the tournament is expanding this year, with six nations confirming their participation; notably, this list does not include the defending champions, Sierra Leone—the team that defeated the hosts in the final of the previous edition held last year.
The BCA will host the women's national teams of Malawi, Zambia, Lesotho, Mozambique, and Brazil in this six-team tournament. All teams will compete against one another in a single round-robin group stage format, followed by a final match between the top two teams on the points table. The Brazilian women's team—which has previously toured Kigali, Rwanda, for two editions of the Kwibuka Memorial Women’s Tournament—is participating for the first time in a tournament organized by another ICC Africa Associate Member. They are also scheduled to participate in the Kwibuka Memorial event taking place in Rwanda this year.
