ICC Under 19 World Cup 2026

The schedule for the 16th ICC Under-19 World Cup 2026 has been announced, which will take place in Namibia and Zimbabwe from January 15 to February 6, 2026. The tournament format will remain the same, with 16 teams divided into four groups of four and playing 41 matches over 23 days. Five-time champions India will be in Group A with Bangladesh, the United States, and New Zealand. Pakistan will be in Group B with Zimbabwe, England, and Scotland. The teams will arrive in Africa on January 8, and practice matches will be played from January 9 to 14.

Under 19 World Cup 2026 Format

The format for the 2026 Under-19 World Cup has been retained to ensure equal opportunities for all teams. A total of 16 teams will be divided into four groups, each playing against the other three teams in their group. The top three teams from each group will then advance to the Super Six round.

In the Super Six, these teams will be divided into two new groups and play against the stronger teams from the other groups. From there, teams will advance to the semi-finals based on their performance. Finally, two semi-finals and a final will be played, with reserve days to ensure matches are not interrupted due to factors such as bad weather.
