Sri Lanka will host Bangladesh from June 17 to July 16, complete with two Tests, three ODIs and three T20Is. It is a great month of cricket, with each format getting its own identity.
The red-ball contest will begin in Galle on June 17, followed by the second Test at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo from June 25. Sri Lanka have never lost a Test series against Bangladesh, coming after a 1-1 draw with Zimbabwe in April.
After the Tests, the focus will be on white-ball matches. Three day-night ODIs will be played at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo (July 2 and 5) and Pallekele (July 8). This will be followed by T20 matches: the first match will be played in Pallekele on July 10, the second in Dambulla on July 13 and the final match in Colombo on July 16.
The T20 matches of this tour are really important as Sri Lanka will co-host the Men's T20 World Cup with India in early 2026.
