A right-arm medium pacer from Maharashtra, Rohan Raje first appeared for Mumbai in the 2007 domestic Twenty20 tournament, after which he went on to make his List A debut in 2008.

Raje had not played a single first-class game when he was signed by the IPL franchise Mumbai Indians for the inaugural editions in 2008. He had two wonderful seasons with the team, under the captaincy of Sachin Tendulkar.
