Nasum Ahmed is a Bangladeshi cricketer who has represented Sylhet Division in domestic cricket and made his international debut for Bangladesh in March 2021. Known for his left-arm spin, he has been a key player in Bangladesh's white-ball squads.
His rise in professional cricket began when he was picked by the Chattogram Challengers for the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League. In March 2020, he earned a place in Bangladesh’s T20I squad for the series against Zimbabwe. The following year, he was included in the preliminary squad for the ODI series against the West Indies and later in the squad for Bangladesh’s tour of New Zealand.
Nasum made his T20I debut on March 28, 2021, against New Zealand. A few months later, on August 3, he delivered a match-winning performance against Australia, taking 4/19 to help Bangladesh secure their first-ever T20 victory over the Aussies.
