Kieron Pollard hits 7 sixes in 8 balls: Former West Indies captain Kieron Pollard entertained the fans by playing a stormy innings in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2025). Representing Trinbago Knight Riders, Pollard scored 65 runs in just 29 balls against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.
38-year-old Pollard hit two fours and eight sixes during his innings. Coming to bat at number five, the highlight of Pollard's innings was that he hit seven sixes in eight balls. He targeted Navian Bidaisi and Waqar Salamkhil and hit four sixes each in the overs of both.
In the 19th match of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2025, the 38-year-old right-handed batsman scored 65 runs off just 29 balls while batting at number five. Pollard hit two fours and eight sixes in his innings and added 90 runs in 8.1 overs for the fourth wicket with Nicholas Pooran (52 runs off 38 balls; 4 fours, 3 sixes). Out of the 8 sixes, he hit four sixes each against Naviyan Bidaisi and Waqar Salmakhel and the last 7 sixes were hit on eight consecutive balls.

Kieron Pollard has scored more than 14 thousand runs in T20 cricket: Pollard hit 3 big hits against Bidaisi on the third, fourth and sixth balls of the 15th over of TKR's innings and then hit four consecutive sixes off Salamkhel's ball on the last four balls of the 16th over. With the 8th six hit on the last ball of the 16th over, he completed his half-century in just 21 balls. Earlier on Saturday (August 30), Pollard became the second batsman in the world after Chris Gayle to score 14,000 runs in T20.
