He played an aggressive innings of 42 runs off just 28 balls, but while attempting to steal a second run, he strained his right hamstring. The pain was so severe that he had to leave the field immediately (retired hurt).

Medical Report: Grade 2 Strain Confirmed

Scans conducted after the match confirmed a Grade 2 right hamstring strain. Due to this injury, Tim David will not be able to return to the field for the remainder of the current BBL season, which runs until January 25. Medical experts believe that a Grade 2 tear can take 4 to 6 weeks to heal completely.
