He broke the record held by Arzan Nagwaswalla and T. Ravi Teja, who took 6 wickets for 13 runs in the 2023 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Third on the list is Services' D.S. Poonia, who took 6 wickets for 14 runs, while Baroda's Swapnil Singh is fourth, taking 6 wickets for 19 runs. In the match against Chandigarh, Arshad Khan took 6 wickets for 9 runs in his 6 overs and also bowled one maiden over.
