T20 World Cup 2026: Which teams will the Indian team face in the Super-8?: The Super 8 teams for the 2026 T20 World Cup are now largely clear. Australia is now out of the running for the Super 8s, and Zimbabwe has secured its place. Four teams from Group 1 of the Super 8s have reached the finals. India, South Africa, West Indies, and Zimbabwe have qualified.

Three teams from the second group (New Zealand, England, and Sri Lanka) have reached the finals. The USA and Pakistan are competing for the fourth spot. Soon, all eight Super 8 teams will be finalized. These teams will compete for a place in the semi-finals.

Which teams are in India's group?

India's Super 8 schedule begins on February 22nd. Team India will face South Africa at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Next, on February 26th, the Suryakumar Yadav-led team will face Zimbabwe at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. India will face the West Indies in the final Super 8 match, which will be played at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

India's journey to the T20 World Cup 2026 -

The Indian team has already achieved a hat-trick of victories in the T20 World Cup 2026. In Group A, India defeated the United States by 29 runs in their first match. Subsequently, India defeated Namibia by 93 runs at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

On Sunday, at the Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Suryakumar Yadav's team defeated Pakistan by 61 runs to qualify for the Super-8. Team India will face the Netherlands in their final group match. The match will be held at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on February 18.
