With this innings, de Kock has gone past former opening batter Herschelle Gibbs, who scored 21 centuries in his ODI career. De Kock now has 22 ODI centuries, moving ahead of Gibbs.
Against Pakistan, de Kock played a masterful innings, scoring 123 not out off 119 balls, which included 7 sixes and 8 fours. This was his 22nd ODI century, showcasing his class and experience at the top of the order.

At just 32 years old, Quinton de Kock still has several years of cricket ahead of him. Given his current form and consistency, it wouldn’t be surprising if he eventually becomes South Africa’s all-time leading century-maker in ODIs.
