Punjab has included three big names in its squad: Shubman Gill, Abhishek Sharma, and Arshdeep Singh. This tournament will be particularly important for Shubman Gill. Due to recent poor form and fitness issues, he was left out of India's T20 World Cup and New Zealand series squads. In such a scenario, Gill will be eager to prove his form and fitness by scoring runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
