Pakistan cricket team jersey changed: Will play in pink jersey against South Africa

The Pakistan cricket team has made an important decision ahead of the T20 series against South Africa. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has changed the color of the players' jerseys from green to pink. This decision was made before the start of the T20 series against South Africa. Regarding the jersey change, the Pakistan Cricket Board stated that there is a reason behind the pink color.

Prior to this decision, the Pakistan Cricket Board stated in a media release that this pink jersey campaign is part of the "Pink Ribbon Pakistan" movement, which aims to raise awareness about breast cancer. The Pakistan team, captained by Salman Ali Agha, will wear pink jerseys. South African players and match officials will also wear pink ribbons to raise awareness about breast cancer.

During the first T20 match between South Africa and Pakistan, which will be played in Rawalpindi, commentators will also be seen wearing pink ribbons. The stumps used in the match will also be painted pink.

South Africa vs Pakistan T20 series

The South African team is touring Pakistan. The two-match Test series between Pakistan and South Africa ended in a 1-1 draw. The three-match T20I series begins today, Tuesday, October 28. The first match will be played in Rawalpindi, while the second and third matches will be played in Lahore. Following the T20I series, the two teams will also play a three-match ODI series.
