MS Dhoni visit Maa Dewri Temple, Watch video

Former Indian cricket team and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni visited the famous Maa Devri temple in Jharkhand as per tradition. A video of Dhoni reaching the temple is going viral on social media. Dhoni once again showed his unwavering faith before the next IPL season (IPL 2026).

Apart from IPL, Dhoni spends most of his time with his family in Ranchi. On Friday, a video of Dhoni went viral in which he visited Maa Devri temple, about 60 km from Ranchi. He offered prayers at the temple. In one photo, Dhoni was seen wearing a tilak (a sacred thread) and a red chunari (a scarf) in his hand.

MS Dhoni visits the Maa Deori Temple every year before the start of the IPL. He continued this tradition before the 2026 season. A crowd gathered at the temple as soon as Dhoni arrived.

It's worth noting that this temple has a long history. It's said to be over 700 years old. However, the exact date of its construction remains a mystery. Devotees from far and wide visit the temple.
