Ireland women have announced their team for the three-match ODI series against Indian women. In this series starting from January 10, Ireland will be captained by Gabby Lewis and her vice-captain will be premium all-rounder Orla Prendergast. The Board of Control for Cricket in India has announced the team for this series. Harmanpreet Kaur and Renuka Singh are not part of Team India. Smriti Mandhana has been given a big responsibility. Mandhana will captain Team India in the ODI series against Ireland.
Three ODI matches are to be played between India and Ireland. All these matches will be held in Rajkot. Mandhana will be the captain of India. She is an experienced player and has performed well on many occasions. Deepti Sharma will be the vice-captain of Team India. Along with her, Pratika Rawal and Harleen Deol have also got a place in Team India. Harleen is an expert in strong batting. She recently scored a century against West Indies.
