IND vs ZIM: Samson, Dubey and Yashasvi out of the first two matches against Zimbabwe

After becoming the champion in T20 World Cup 2024, now the next match of the Indian team is against Zimbabwe. This five-match series is going to start from July 6. The Indian team has already been announced for this series. However, now the BCCI has made three big changes in the team for the first two matches on Tuesday. Sai Sudarshan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana have been included in the team for the first two matches. They have replaced Sanju Samson, Shivam Dubey and Yashasvi Jaiswal who are stranded in Barbados with the Indian team due to Hurricane Beryl. In such a situation, the BCCI has sent Sudarshan, Jitesh and Harshit with Team India. The Indian team left for Zimbabwe tour on Tuesday itself.

BCCI informed- Samson, Dubey and Yashasvi have been included in the team for the five-match series for the Zimbabwe tour. These three will come to India with the world champion team India and after that they will leave for Harare from here.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) shared pictures of the players leaving for Zimbabwe on Christmas. It included Abhishek Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Rituraj Gaikwad, Avesh Khan, Riyan Parag. India's coach on this tour will be former cricketer and National Cricket Academy (NCA) head VVS Laxman. He was also seen with Team India. Sharing the pictures, BCCI wrote - Jet Set Zimbabwe. Opener Shubman Gill has been made the captain for this tour. He will join Team India after reaching Harare from New York. World Cup reserve players like Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan and Khalil Ahmed have also been included in the team for the Zimbabwe tour.
