India's strongest playing 11: The first T20 match between India and South Africa will be played on 8 November at the Durban ground.
The Indian team has gone on a tour to South Africa to play a series of four T20 matches and the Indian team is fully prepared to wave the flag on African soil. Team India, which is adorned with young players of IPL, is led by Suryakumar Yadav. Under the captaincy of Surya, India recently won the T20 series against Bangladesh 3-0. Now Team India will be eyeing a strong performance in South Africa. The first match between the two teams will be played in Durban on November 8.
In the first T20 match, the pair of Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson can be seen opening. Sanju scored a century in the last match of the T20 series against Bangladesh and he was successful in impressing with the game. At the same time, Abhishek is also known for scoring runs quickly and changing the course of the match in just a few balls. Both of them have won matches for Team India on their own in the past as well. Captain Suryakumar Yadav can come at number three.
The burden of the middle order can be given to Rinku Singh, Hardik Pandya and Ramandeep Singh. Rinku and Hardik can play the role of finisher for Team India and can also play a big innings if needed. Apart from the bat, Hardik is also capable of contributing with the ball. Ramandeep performed well for India in the recently held Emerging Asia Cup. Nitish Reddy has been included in the Test team, so Ramandeep can fulfill the need for a fast bowling all-rounder.
Ramandeep may get a chance to debut. The responsibility of the spin department can be given to Varun Chakraborty and Axar Patel. Arshdeep Singh can be seen leading the fast bowling attack. Arshdeep has been an important link in the Indian T20 team for some time now and bowls well at the beginning of the innings. Avesh Khan and Yash Dayal can get a chance to support him. Yash Dayal performed well in IPL 2024 and was successful in taking 15 wickets. Due to this he may get a chance to debut.
