Batting first at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the Indian team scored 253 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Sanju Samson missed out on a century but played a stormy inning of 89 runs in 42 balls, hitting 8 fours and 7 sixes.
