How will India's playing eleven be

The five-match T20 series between India and Australia is heading toward its climax, with the fifth and final T20 to be played today, November 8, at the Gabba in Brisbane. Team India currently lead the series 2-1, and a win today will seal the series 3-1 in their favour. However, if Australia manage to win, the series will end 2-2.

Ahead of this crucial clash, discussions around India’s Playing XI have picked up pace. Reports suggest that captain Suryakumar Yadav and head coach Gautam Gambhir could make two major changes.

Rinku Singh and Nitish Reddy Likely to Get a Chance

In India’s T20 squad touring Australia, only Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy have not yet featured in any of the first four matches. Both players have been waiting patiently for their opportunity, and the final match could finally see them take the field.

According to team sources, Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar may be rested for this game, paving the way for Rinku and Nitish to step in.

Rinku Singh, known for his explosive finishing skills, is expected to strengthen the middle order, while Nitish Reddy, a fast-bowling all-rounder

India’s Probable Playing XI for 5th T20

Abhishek Sharma, Shubman Gill (Vice-Captain), Suryakumar Yadav (Captain), Tilak Varma, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Jitesh Sharma (Wicketkeeper), Rinku Singh, Axar Patel, Jasprit Bumrah, Varun Chakravarthy, Arshdeep Singh

This lineup provides balance across departments. Nitish Reddy’s inclusion offers an additional seam-bowling option, while Rinku Singh strengthens India’s finishing capabilities in the lower middle order.

Team India Eyeing a Series Win

Team India will aim to finish the series on a high. Under Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy, India produced clinical performances in the third and fourth T20s. The bowling attack, in particular, showed impressive control during pressure moments.

The trio of Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel will once again form the core of India’s bowling lineup. India are unlikely to make changes in this department, given how effective these bowlers have been throughout the series.

Meanwhile, Tilak Varma is expected to bat at the No. 3 position in this game. In the previous match, Shivam Dube had batted one-down, but with Dube likely to be rested, Tilak may be promoted up the order to provide stability in the middle.

Australia Look to Level the Series

Australia, this will be a must-win contest. Having lost the last two games, they will look to bounce back strongly and end the series on level terms. Their bowlers have struggled to contain India’s power hitters, but conditions at the Gabba, which often assist fast bowlers, could work in their favour.eather Could Play Spoilsport
