Harry Brook overtook Joe Root to become number 1 batsman in Tests: England's Harry Brook became the number one batsman in the latest Test rankings updated by the ICC on December 11. Harry Brook's Test career

  • Talking about Brook, he has scored 2280 runs in 23 Test matches with an impressive average of 61.62 and eight centuries. England's star batsman Brook has scored 1099 runs including four centuries in 11 Test matches in 2024. Root reached number one in July this year, surpassing former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson, and achieved the number one position for the ninth time.
