Moreover, just a few days prior, Phillips had shared several photographs on social media showing him interacting with students and instructors at a flying school.
Glenn Phillips Had a Passion for Becoming a Pilot
It is worth noting that Phillips harbored a deep passion for becoming a pilot and entering the aviation sector. Phillips stated, "Yes, it is a huge passion of mine. If I weren't playing cricket—and let's assume I had all the money in the world since childhood—then, to be honest, I probably would have become a pilot."
Phillips further added, "I absolutely love being in the air. If everything went exactly according to my wishes, I would head to the mountains and wouldn't have to work at all—I would simply pursue all my hobbies. But if I still had to work, becoming a pilot would be my first choice."
Phillips Set to Shine in IPL 2026
In the 2026 season of the IPL, Glenn Phillips will be seen playing for the Gujarat Titans. The franchise has retained Phillips for the upcoming season at a price of ₹2 crore. However, it is worth noting that he played the previous IPL season (2023) for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Now, it will be interesting to see whether or not he manages to secure a spot in the Playing XI in the upcoming season.
