BCCI Central Contracts 2023 The promotion of Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya is believed to be fixed in the new annual contract issued by the BCCI. This can be decided in the Apex Council meeting to be held on Wednesday.

In the year 2022, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer and Hardik Pandya, the biggest contender for the captaincy of Team India in T20 format, are ready to take a new flight. Actually these three batsmen are going to be promoted in the 2022-23 central contract issued by BCCI. The seal will also be taken in the meeting of the Apex Council of BCCI to be held on Wednesday.

Talking about the last 12 months, the performance of all three has been excellent in different formats of cricket. This is the reason that there is a plan to upgrade these players from Grade C to Grade B. Out of this, Hardik can also be upgraded to Grade A if the management is ready to make him the T20 captain on a permanent basis.

Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, he was included in the contract list only last year while Hardik Pandya and Shreyas Iyer were demoted. Hardik was sent from grade A to C and Iyer from B to C.

Let us tell you that there are four categories of central contracts by BCCI.

A+ Category – In this, players are given 7 crores annually. Currently there are only three players in this list. This includes Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jaspreet Bumrah.

A Category – In this, players are given 5 crores annually. Currently, the list includes R Ashwin, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja, Mohammed Shami and Rishabh Pant.

B Category – In this, players are given 3 crores annually. The list currently consists of Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Akshar Patel, Shardul Thakur, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammed Siraj and Ishant Sharma.

C Category – 1 crore is given annually to the players in this category. The list currently consists of Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Hardik Pandya, Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar, Shubman Gill, Yuzvendra Chahal, Hanuma Vihari, Suryakumar Yadav, Wriddhiman Saha and Mayank Agarwal.
