Afghanistan Cricket Board spokesperson Syed Naseem Sadat said, 'ACB has appointed former Pakistan veteran top order player Younus Khan as its mentor in the Champions Trophy 2025. Younus Khan will join the team in Pakistan before the event.'

Younus Khan Cricket Career: Younus Khan has played 118 Test matches for Pakistan in which the experienced player has scored 10,099 runs. His highest individual score has been 313 runs. Not only this, the experienced player has also been in first place in the ICC rankings. Under the captaincy of Younus Khan, Pakistan won the ICC T20 World Cup 2009.
Younus Khan has also worked with Peshawar Zalmi in the Pakistan Super League while he was recently appointed as the head coach of Bengal Tigers in the Abu Dhabi T10 League.
