Why is Yash Dayal Ruled Out of IPL 2026?: In a recent interaction, Mo Bobat stated, "Yash is currently going through an extremely difficult personal phase. Although he remains under contract with RCB, he will not be with the team for the IPL 2026 season." It is noteworthy that Dayal had been absent from RCB's pre-season camp since March 18, sparking speculation regarding his unavailability ever since.

Yash Dayal Facing Serious Legal Allegations and Court Cases

Yash Dayal has been grappling with serious legal troubles for some time now. Cases of sexual exploitation have been registered against him in two different states
- Ghaziabad Case: In July 2025, a woman filed an FIR against him, alleging physical and mental exploitation under the pretext of marriage. In this matter, the Allahabad High Court had temporarily stayed his arrest.
- Jaipur (POCSO) Case: In Jaipur, Rajasthan, he has been accused of sexually assaulting a minor. A case has been registered against him under the POCSO Act in this matter. In December 2025, a court in Jaipur rejected his anticipatory bail plea.
Owing to these controversies, the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) had also excluded him from the squad for the entire domestic season.
