WPL 2024: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the schedule of the Women's Premier League 2024 (WPL 2024). This tournament will be played from 23 February to 17 March. Like last year, a total of five teams will play 22 matches. However, this time a big change has been seen. Actually, last year this league was played in two stadiums of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai. However, this time the hosting of this league has been given to Bengaluru and Delhi instead of Mumbai.
The matches will be played at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru and Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Both the grounds have hosted 11 matches each. The tournament will begin with the match between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in Bengaluru. This is the second edition of the Women's Premier League and last year the Harmanpreet Kaur-led Mumbai Indians team became the champions. It defeated Delhi Capitals under the captaincy of Meg Lanning in the final.
WPL 2024 Schedule, The first 11 matches of the tournament will be played in Bengaluru. After this, all five teams will come to Delhi, where the final match including an eliminator will be played. 20 matches will be played in the league round and after this the eliminator and final matches will be played. The team topping the league round will directly advance to the finals. Whereas, the second and third placed teams will play eliminator. Not a single double header match will be played in this tournament lasting 24 days. There will be only one match every day. The eliminator will be played on March 15 and the final on March 17 in Delhi.

When will the final match be played?
The playoff matches of the Women's Premier League 2024 will be played at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi. The eliminator match of the tournament will be played on March 15 in Delhi. At the same time, the title match of WPL 2024 will be played on March 17 at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in Delhi.
Which team won WPL 2023
Last season, under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, Mumbai Indians performed brilliantly and won the title. Mumbai had tasted defeat to Delhi Capitals by 7 wickets in the final match. In WPL 2023, Meg Lanning had scored the maximum of 345 runs, while in bowling, Mumbai Indians player Hayley Mathews wreaked havoc and took 16 wickets in 10 matches.
